This session is for the Health Pathway
Students should complete Career Exploration 101 before attending this workshop.
This workshop will focus on how to use the results of the Career Coach assessment to explore possible programs of study at BHCC that match their career interests. Students will learn about MassHire CIS to learn more about specific careers.

Steps to Success Workshops: Educational Planning 101 - Using SelfService
This workshop will focus on using the BHCC SelfService tool for educational planning purposes. Students will learn how to navigate their Student Planning tab to understand program requirements, find their advisor assignment, and plan and register for courses. Students will learn some tips and tricks for using the Course Catalog to search for course terms, sections and formats.

Transfer 101 – Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) | Health
(Recommended for students with 0-30 credits)
This STEM & Health pathway-specific workshop will focus on the first two stages of transferring: Planning and Exploring. Students will receive an overview of statewide transfer programs and incentives, how to transfer credits, searching for colleges, and other resources to clarify the transfer process.
Recommended for students who are learning about transferring for the first time. Its never too early to begin thinking about transfer!

Experience the power and the music by the intertribal group of southern New England women performing traditional and contemporary songs accompanied by hand drums, rattles and water drum. In the Natick dialect of Algonquin, “Nettukkusqk” means “my sister.” Formed by Wampanoag and Nipmuc women from Rhode Island and Massachusetts in 1994 at Deer Island Memorial, Boston, the Nettukkusqk Singers seek to reclaim women’s drumming and singing traditions from their tribal communities. The performance will be in English and several dialects of southern New England Algonquin. This event is dedicated to all missing and murdered indigenous women and Two Spirit People.
Sponsored by the Mary L. Fifield Art Gallery, in conjunction with the current exhibition Monatash: Arts and Artists from Southern New England.
