Ordering an Official Academic Transcript

Bunker Hill Community College has partnered with Parchment as our authorized official academic transcript provider.

Helpful Information Regarding Your Order

  • Before placing an order, you will be prompted to create a Parchment Learner account. If you already have a Parchment Learner account, you can log in with your existing account information.  
  • Follow the instructions to place your official transcript order.  If you have questions while placing your order, you can contact Parchment Support
  • Payment will be required before officially submitting your order. You can use any major credit card. Your card will only be charged after your order has been completely processed.  
  • Your signed consent is required to complete your transcript order.
  • You will have the opportunity to review your order before officially placing it. Once it is placed, your order cannot be edited. If you made a mistake on your order, you can contact Parchment Support to cancel your order (if it has not yet been processed by BHCC). If your order is already processed, you will be required to submit a new order.
  • IMPORTANT: Official transcripts sent electronically to the student are considered unofficial when forwarded.  If you are in need of an official transcript for transfer, employment, etc., please send your official transcript directly to the recipient to be considered official.  Once a transcript is sent, we cannot change the recipient and you will be required to order and pay for a new transcript.
  • Once your order is submitted, you will receive email confirmation from Parchment. You can track your order in Parchment.

Types of Transcripts


  • Valid within BHCC or for personal records
  • Cannot be used for official purposes
  • Current and active students have access to print unofficial transcripts at BHCC self service
  • Inactive students in need of an unofficial transcript should submit the Unofficial Transcript Request Form.


  • Ordered through Parchment
  • Used for official purposes (transfer credit/admissions/all educational institutions and government agencies)
  • Paper copy of the transcript is in a sealed envelope on official transcript paper with registrar signature and BHCC seal.
  • Electronic copy will be emailed directly and securely from BHCC to another institution

Processing Timeframes

In the order, you will be asked to select from the following:


Do not hold for grades to be entered or degree to be processed. Process transcript as soon as possible. Typical processing timeframe is 24 hours, however, if a transcript is held for verification purposes, additional processing time is required.


Transcript will not be sent until degree is awarded.


For current semester grades to be included, you can select “Hold for Grades”. These transcripts will be processed once grades have been entered (this may not be the same time the semester ends).
