MathSpace Relocation

As of Monday, November 5, 2018, the MathSpace has been relocated to room E234.

B-Building Fire Alarm Update

Last Thursday and this past Saturday, the fire alarm in the B-Building was activated due to faulty smoke detectors that may have been the result  of excess construction dust.  When there is an alarm, Boston Fire responds immediately to determine if there is a threat which they did in all cases.

H-Building: Water Update

The sediment in the tap water in the H-Building is being addressed. Facilities is working with Hood management to determine the cause and a solution. Hood management believes they have isolated the pipe that may have been causing the issue.  There should be improved results over the next few days. In the meantime, please continue to utilize the water coolers located in the student lounge and staff lounge for drinking.

Parking Lots 5 & 6 on the Charlestown Campus

There was  removal of an underground storage tank which is now complete. BHCC requested the contractor to remove the grass island and partial sidewalk to create additional parking spaces which has been paved. The line stripping of the  new parking spaces will be complete by November 16, 2018.

We apologize for any inconvenience as we continue to make improvements to our campus. Please stay tuned for regular construction updates on this page, in email, and in the BHCC Updates as our progress continues.
