(Recommended for students with 0-30 credits)
This workshop will focus on the first two stages of transferring: Planning and Exploring. Students will receive an overview of statewide transfer programs and incentives, how to transfer credits, searching for colleges, and other resources to clarify the transfer process. Recommended for students who are learning about transferring for the first time. It's never too early to begin thinking about transfer!

Talking Transfer is a drop-in session for students who need to ask questions about their process. All new and continuing students are welcome to register ahead to meet with a member of the transfer team.
The session will be an open forum for students to communicate in a group setting with a transfer advisor as opposed to one-on-one.

Topics that will be covered include: applying to four-year colleges and making informed decisions on which colleges to attend, requesting letters of recommendations, writing your transfer essays, and using the Common Application.

The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum will be hosting 11 Learn & Earn interns! The internships will run November – April and students will take the spring internship course. Internship areas include: Board Relations, Collections and Archives, Conservation, Contemporary Art, Finance, Human Resources, Membership, Music, Rental Events, Studio Art and Tours/ Education. The interns will be taking part in a program at the Museum for BHCC students called Gardner Ambassadors and will gain hands-on experience in a museum environment, learn about the history of the Gardner and visitor-centered museum practice, and explore possible career paths in the museum world.
