Boston River Run - Run for BHCC
RUN FOR BHCC— FREE REGISTRATION FOR BHCC STUDENTS!
John Narcus, a 2014 BHCC alumnus, is a founder of the Boston River Run 5K, held annually in memory of his brother, Corporal Andrew Graham Narcus, USMC. Proceeds from this year’s race will benefit the Andrew Graham Narcus Semper Fi Endowed Scholarship Fund at Bunker Hill Community College.
The 2023 Boston River Run will be held on November 12, 2023, at Artesani Park in Brighton. For more information about the race please visit: bostonriverrun.com.

Welcome to International Education Week and Study Abroad Fair
There will be a table advertising all of the week’s events with snacks and an in-person Study Abroad Fair for all 4 programs. There will also be IEW decorations and a photo backdrop that will stay for the duration of the week.

Students should complete Career Exploration 101 before attending this workshop.
This workshop will focus on how to use the results of the Career Coach assessment to explore possible programs of study at BHCC that match their career interests. Students will learn about MassHire CIS to learn more about specific careers.

Mental Health Workshop
Bunker Hill Community College is hosting The NAN Project to run a Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) gatekeeper training for students on campus. Attendees will hear from one of The NAN Project’s Peer Mentors about their lived experience with mental health challenges, and how they were able to access support. The main topics covered training are:
- How to Question, Persuade and Refer someone who may be suicidal
- How to get help for yourself or learn more about preventing suicide
- The common causes of suicidal behavior
- The warning signs of suicide
- How to get help for someone in crisis
- Learn about mental health resources on- and off-campus

Northeastern University College of Professional Studies Virtual Information Session
Virtual college visits are virtual events that allow Bunker Hill students to meet with transfer admission representatives from bachelor degree granting institutions. During these one hour sessions, students learn about each institution's academic programs, student engagement opportunities, and the process for applying and transferring to these institutions. Students also have the opportunity to ask their own questions.

Transfer 101 – Planning and Exploring
(Recommended for students with 0-30 credits)
This workshop will focus on the first two stages of transferring: Planning and Exploring. Students will receive an overview of statewide transfer programs and incentives, how to transfer credits, searching for colleges, and other resources to clarify the transfer process. Recommended for students who are learning about transferring for the first time. Its never too early to begin thinking about transfer!
