The ATI TEAS Exam

The ATI TEAS, or Test of Essential Academic Skills, is designed specifically to assess a student's preparedness entering the health science fields. The ATI TEAS is a required part of the application to Health Sciences programs, including the Nursing program at Bunker Hill.

Bunker Hill’s TEAS sessions are open to both BHCC students and non-students.

In Fall 2020 we are offering both remote (online) and on-campus sessions.

Please review the remote testing requirements carefully before registering for an exam.

How to register for BHCC TEAS sessions:

  • Go to atitesting.com and select TEAS
    • Register for TEAS.
  • You will be required to create an account if you do not have one already.
  • Log into your account and use the Online Store link near top right.
  • On the left-hand side you will see Register for TEAS.
  • Choose Program Type
    • Choose TEAS for Nursing Students.
  • (Please select this option even if you are applying for another program such as Sonography.)
  • Choose to view sessions in Charlestown, then select Bunker Hill Community College as your location.

Select a test session. To finalize your appointment you will need to pay the registration fee.

Test fees are $93 for remote sessions and $88 for on-campus sessions.

Test Takers With Accommodations

Testing accommodations such as extended time are available for those with documented disabilities. Accommodations must be arranged in advance. Please contact the BHCC Assessment Center before making your TEAS appointment if you will need accommodations. Alternate schedules may be required depending upon your accommodations.

Exam Content

The ATI TEAS test is comprised of 170 questions set up in a multiple-choice format with four-option answers. Questions are designed to test the basic academic skills you will need to perform in class in the areas of: Reading, Math, Science, and English and Language Usage.
