The BHCC Jazz Celebration series began in the spring of 1999 with a 100th birthday celebration for Duke Ellington. Continuing in this tradition for nearly two decades, the BHCC Jazz Fest has paid tribute to the contributions of jazz luminaries such as Miles Davis, Charlie Parker and Billie Holiday, as well as the lesser known, but still important jazz musicians.

On Thursday, April 11 at 1 p.m. the Paralegal and Legal Studies Department will host the Honorable John E. McDonald, Jr., First Justice of the East Boston Division of the Boston Municipal Court in E175. Please come and hear Judge McDonald speak and have an opportunity to ask questions.

This workshop will focus on the importance of networking as a key skill in today's competitive job market. Students will learn the basics behind networking events and the purpose behind an informational interview. There will also be a focus on conducting an effective job search on various search engines, setting up daily searches and using social media. Registration is not required.
