The purpose of this group is to acquire and practice standardized American English, while at the same time learning how to navigate life at the College as an English Language Learner and/or immigrant. We will talk about the best language learning methods, along with strategies for dealing with coursework, professors, classmates, registration, transfer and career planning, financial issues, and much more. We discuss many of the challenges of life at the College, as well the ways to take advantage of the many opportunities that exist at Bunker Hill as well. The group is open to all students. In-person days: Room E-140 Mondays, 12 - 1 p.m. Wednesdays, 1 - 2 p.m. Remote day: WebEx Friday, 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Note: The group will not meet during spring break, Mar. 13-19.

Please join us for an evening of collaboration between BHCC College Choir, Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Choirs, Drs. Dr. Riikka Pietiläinen Caffrey & Tatiana Taylor, and Matt Savage on piano. This program will feature music inspired by stars, cosmic energy, space, nature, and earth. The selection will include compositions by BHCC's own Louie Steptoe and Lyrik Fulton.
