This workshop will focus on college majors that match student's career goals. Students will learn about possible programs of study at BHCC. A career exploration tool will be utilized for career goal setting.

This workshop will focus on the three stages of transfer:  planning, applying and enrolling.  Students will receive an overview of MassTransfer, the Common Application, paying for college and search engines to help clarify the transfer process.  It's never too early to begin thinking about transfer! This information session will serve as both an introduction to the cannabis industry and as a preview for a 2-day Cannabis Career Training workshop that is planned for October 21-22, 2019 (see below). Workshop topics will include: An overview of the marijuana industry and the issues it faces, both today and in the future An analysis of current regulations in Massachusetts for medical and adult-use licenses Considerations for participating in the industry (including the careers available and the requirements for each position) Personal skills and attributes required for success The unique challenges faced by an owner/operator in the industry This workshop is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
