Bunker Hill Community College’s Literary Magazine Wins Superior Distinction from National Council of Teachers of English

For the third time, Tell Magazine, Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) 's student literary magazine, has been awarded a Superior recognition in the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) 's Recognizing Excellence in Art and Literary Magazines (REALM) contest. This year, 422 student magazines were nominated by schools in 46 states and five countries. For the 2024 contest, magazines from middle school, high school, and higher education were welcomed.

Bunker Hill Community College hosted its 2nd Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Community Breakfast on Tuesday, February 4. The event brought together students, faculty, and community members to honor Dr. King’s legacy, focusing on the theme “Sticking to Love: MLK’s Inspired Vision for Unity and Social Change, Then and Now.”

BHCC Student Javkhlan Batsaikhan Named to All-USA Academic Team

Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) student Javkhlan “Jay” Batsaikhan has been selected as one of 20 college students named to the prestigious 2025 All-USA Academic Team. Selected from nearly 2,100 nominees, Jay will receive a $5,000 scholarship.
