Building on the first successful year of Governor Healey’s MassReconnect program, which provides free community college to students 25 and older, MassEducate offers all residents who have not yet earned a bachelor’s degree the opportunity to attend any of the state’s 15 public community colleges and pay no tuition or fees.

Northeastern University-based group honors criminal justice leaders of color from across greater Boston

BHCC Police Chief Robert Barrows was honored as a 2024 Distinguished Fellow of the Justice George Lewis Ruffin Society at Northeastern University, joining a group of more than a dozen other criminal justice leaders from across the Boston area, including Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell, Boston Police Commissioner Michael Cox, Suffolk County Sherriff Steven Tompkins, and Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden.

The Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance and Bunker Hill Community College Issue Call For Offers in Campus Redevelopment Project

The Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAMM) and Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) have issued a Call for Offers, seeking proposals that would fulfill the state’s vision for a public-private partnership to revitalize the College’s Charlestown campus and create cultural, educational, and recreational opportunities for the community. This development project will deliver a reimagined mixed-use district as well as new, high-quality academic facilities for Massachusetts’ largest community college.
