Enterprise Center for Entrepreneurship & Training

BHCC’s Enterprise Center for Entrepreneurship and Training (ECET) supports residents and small businesses in Chelsea, Everett, and adjacent communities. The Center provides much-needed small business guidance and assistance in multiple languages through online consultation and workshops to address talent recruitment, career readiness, business planning, and innovation.

Workforce Wednesdays-FREE Financial Literacy classes

The ECET is excited to bring you financial literacy classes in-person and virtually every Wednesday!  The Armanino foundation has partnered with the ECET to provide hour long workshops, virtually, every Wednesday from 12pm-1pm or 4pm-5pm via zoom.  You will learn all about budgeting, managing credit cards, protecting your identity and more.  We have also partnered with BHCC Alumni, Eddy Desir, a AVP/Financial Education Specialist at Cambridge Savings Bank, with more than 25 years of professional banking experience.  He promotes equitable economic access to resources and opportunities for all through coaching and mentorship.  He will provide in-person workshops that focus on small business marketing, cash flow, credit, retirement and more.

Small Business Planning & Navigation Program-FREE Business Classes

Do you live, work, own a business or take classes in Chelsea?  If, you answered YES to any of these questions you are eligible to participate in the Small Business Planning and Navigation Program.  Through a partnership with the City of Chelsea through the end of 2025 we are able to provide business training classes, certificate training classes, and 1:1 advisory services in Spanish and English, for FREE.

Open Enrollment Courses

Enroll in a variety of small business training classes for a fee.  The ECET center offers a number of ever-changing, open enrollment, classes that support new, current and experienced Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners.  These classes are vital because they provide foundational business skills in areas like management, finance, marketing, communication, problem solving-essential soft skills and leadership.  These courses offer real-world exposure to business concepts, helps build professional networks and cultivates an entrepreneurial mindset.
