On Sunday, October 5, 2025, the DISH Food Pantry participated in Three Squares New England's 14th annual Ride for Food event in Dedham, MA for the second year in a row!
This important event raises critical funds to fight hunger in our state. 1 in 3 people in Massachusetts are facing food insecurity. The DISH Food Pantry is doing our part to fight food insecurity at Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC), the largest community college in Massachusetts. At least 100% of the funds our team raises for this event go directly to support the DISH Food Pantry!
In 2024, we raised over $3,800 for DISH. In 2025, our goal was to raise $10,000 as a team to help keep our pantry stocked as we experienced donation reductions and funding cuts. Thanks to the generosity of our community and the dedication of our team of walkers and riders, we were able to raise over $17,500 for DISH and had a blast doing it!
