- Success Signals is an early alert tool that allows faculty to give students direct feedback on their academic progress and performance through kudos (positive recognition) and alerts (areas of concern).
- Success Signals celebrate student success or guide them toward helpful support in and out of the classroom.
- When a Success Signal is entered, the student receives a notification, and specific members of the student's success team are also notified.
Success Signals for Faculty
- Success Signals provides faculty with a way to engage with students while also sharing relevant information with campus resources that can offer additional support.
- Through Success Signals, faculty can recognize students’ performance and progress at any time during the semester, which allows for timely and proactive communication with the student and their success team.
- Whenever a student receives a Success Signal, they are notified via email, and a member of their success team also reaches out to provide more support and referrals to campus resources.
- After a member of their success team connects with the student, the faculty member receives an update on the status of the Success Signal and any next steps that were suggested.
- Each student has a success team which is made up of professional advisors.
