Grants Development Office

The Grants Development Office pursues grant funding from state and federal agencies and private foundations for new programs and program enhancements that promote the College’s strategic goals. The Office is under the supervision of the Executive Director of Grants and the authority of the Vice President for Administration and Finance.

The Office researches, identifies, and targets grant opportunities for the College to pursue and crafts competitive grant proposals. This work includes the engagement of faculty and staff as well as other institutions of higher education, high schools, local industry and community agencies. The Office also partners with individual faculty to find grant funders for specific initiatives.

All grants submitted to funding agencies by Bunker Hill Community College, or by other agencies in partnership with the College, must be consistent with the College’s mission and strategic goals. An effective grant proposal includes a collaborative planning process and a clear match between the College’s needs and a grant program’s requirements.

All grant proposals to external funding agencies on behalf of the College (state, federal, and foundations) MUST be submitted by the BHCC Grants Office. The Office engages staff and faculty throughout the College to identify potential projects for grant support and to participate in proposal development.

If you are interested in developing a grant, please contact grantsdept@bhcc.edu
