
All of BHCC’s full-time faculty are veteran industry practitioners in their respective fields. The professors in our business administration department bring practical, professional experience and disciplinary strength to the college. Tony Fontes, M.S. | Professor & Chair, Business Administration
Tony began working at BHCC in 2010 and is currently a Professor and Chair of the Business Administration Department. He is also the Faculty Advisor to the BHCC Entrepreneurship Club and the BHCC Fitness and Bodybuilding Club.
Tony brings an in-depth and varied business background to the classroom, including proven marketing, management, and leadership skills and experience in corporate, academic, government, entrepreneurial, and nonprofit arenas. In addition to fifteen years of corporate experience in the financial service sector, Tony has practical experience in various entrepreneurial ventures, including several self-funded start-ups in the manufacturing, real estate, service, and retail sectors. He also has extensive experience in franchise ownership, both as a franchisor and a franchisee. Currently, he is the sole proprietor of a business in the fitness industry, established in 2018.
He earned a B.S. with distinction from Eastern Nazarene College and a master’s degree in management from Lesley University.
Arche Jean
Arche Jean comes to BHCC after working as an Adjunct Faculty of Personal Finance and Corporate Finance at Bunker Hill Community College. He is also a BHCC graduate.
Arche holds the following degrees:

- PhD in Business Administration: Northcentral University, Prescott Arizona.
He has taught Mathematics and Computer Literacy in Boston Public Schools for over 24 years; Financial Accounting at Fisher College and Macroeconomics and Haitian Economy at Atlantic Union College.
Arche administers a professional practice providing accounting and financial consulting services to Individuals and small businesses in Boston, and he is an author and has published 3 books.
Hilaire Jean-Gilles M.S. | Professor of Business Administration & Economics
Hilaire joined the Business Department of Bunker Hill Community College in 2013. Before becoming a full-time faculty member, he managed a department for 11 years at the College and worked in different positions as professional staff and adjunct faculty of CIT 110 and Economics. Hilaire has also held the position of Research Coordinator at Massachusetts Community College Council (MCCC) since October 2000. He has been a real estate investor for over a decade and is the owner and broker of a real estate company in Massachusetts.
Hilaire earned a B.S. from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, an M.S. from Boston University/Metropolitan College in Administrative Studies (Financial Economics), and a J.D. from the Massachusetts School of Law.
Daze Swift Lee, Esq., CPA, CMA, CGMA, MBA | Professor of Tax, Business Law and Accounting
Joining BHCC in 2009, Daze is an educator, managing shareholder of an accounting firm, partner of a law firm in Boston, and board member of numerous non-profit organizations. His teaching and research interests are tax law, business law, GAAP standards, forensic accounting, and audit methodology.
Daze holds an M.B.A. from Providence College, a J.D. from the University of Massachusetts Law School, and was the Associate Editor at UMass Law Review.
Tendai W. Nyakurimwa M.B.A. | Professor of Accounting
Tendai Nyakurimwa is a full-time faculty member who joined the business department in 2011. Tendai completed his MBA at Bentley University in 2007, worked as a healthcare consultant at Xerox Services Company for three years, and is a National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) member. In the past two years, Tendai has taken business students to mock interviews, resume critiques, case competitions, and networking events, which have been sponsored by Price Waterhouse Coopers in conjunction with NABA. Tendai has also maintained strong ties with Bentley alumnae, a healthcare consultant fraternity, and NABA, leveraging these relationships to find internship opportunities for business students and bringing guest speakers to BHCC.
Tendai has also attended several conferences on integrating technology into the classroom. The Accounting department has made most of the classes offered, including the McGraw Hill digital platform, which has increased student access to learning materials.
Wissal Nouchrif, M.B.A, Ed. D. | Professor of Business and Finance
Prior to becoming a faculty member, Wissal Nouchrif worked for over ten years in retail banking at different financial institutions, including Bank of America, Citizens Bank, and TDBankNorth.
During her banking experience, Mrs. Nouchrif had a wide range of responsibilities, including recruiting and training new employees, managing up to 14 banking locations as a consumer market manager, and setting sales, customer service, and operational excellence strategies.
In 2009, Mrs. Nouchrif joined Bunker Hill Community College as an adjunct faculty and later became a full-time professor in 2012.
Wissal Nouchrif graduated from Hassan II University with an associate degree in Economics, from Bunker Hill Community College with an associate degree in Business, and from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst with a Bachelor’s in Management and a Master in Business Administration. Mrs. Nouchrif graduated from Northeastern University with a doctorate in education with a concentration in Teaching, Learning, Leadership, and Curriculum. Her dissertation focused on the financial literacy of community college students.
Mrs. Nouchrif is passionate about Financial Literacy and promoting financial education among college students. She designed a financial literacy seminar for first-year full-time students and has taught it since 2012. Mrs. Nouchrif is also the College forum moderator overseeing BHCC’s governance structure.
Dianne Poulos
Dianne Poulos joins the full-time staff after serving several years as an adjunct professor.
Dianne has a wealth of real-world experiences she can pass on to her students. After earning a BS in Accountancy from Bentley, she joined Arthur Andersen & Co. and earned her CPA license. From public accounting, she moved to Polaroid where she worked in internal audit, strategic planning, and in the electronics division as a cost accountant and financial analyst. She holds an MBA from Babson College with a focus on Entrepreneurship. For the past 15 years, she has run her own business in the interior design industry. Most recently, she participated in a growth accelerator through Babson to scale her business.
Youssef Sabouni, M.S. | Assistant Professor of Information Technology
Youssef is a full-time faculty member who joined The Business Administration Department at Bunker Hill Community College in 2022. Youssef earned bachelor's and master’s degrees in information technology from UMass Lowell. Before becoming a full-time faculty member, Youssef worked as a technology support professional, adjunct professor, and IT/web design tutor.
In addition to teaching information technology courses, Youssef also teaches web development and visual media courses and serves as a coordinator for the MyITlab platform, providing training and support to CIT-110 & CIT-234 professors.
Youssef has also participated in curriculum updates for the Business Administration Department.
Jennifer Sherman, BS, MsF, CAGS, ABD | Associate Professor of Accounting & Finance
Jennifer Sherman is currently an Assistant Professor and has taught accounting, finance, economics, organizational behavior, and professional development at various Boston colleges and universities, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Her focus at BHCC is in the Accounting field and Introduction to Business. Jennifer Sherman holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Northeastern University, a Master’s in Finance from Suffolk University, and a CAGS in Organizational Development from Suffolk University. She is currently in the EdD program at Northeastern University, writing her Doctoral Dissertation on Organizational Leadership in Higher Education Finance.
Jennifer Sherman has served as a CFO/Vice President of various colleges and universities in the Boston area, overseeing all financial operations for multimillion-dollar budgets. While at these institutions, she built business models and instituted processes to improve reporting, profitability, cash flow, and student aid. She prides herself on creating work environments that encourage curiosity, collaboration, and entrepreneurial initiative. Given her depth of experience, she is frequently engaged as a consultant to work with colleges and universities on process improvement, student finances, financial aid issues, and program audits and reviews. This background allows her to bring authentic experiences and situations to the classroom, enabling her students to link theory and practice to build their skills and take them directly to the classroom.
