Integrating UDL for Universal Student Success: Teach Smarter, Save Time, Engage Every Learner!
This interactive session will introduce the core principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and explore how you can apply them in your teaching to better support all learners. By the end of this workshop, you will:
- Have a foundational understanding of UDL and its practical applications in your courses.
- Be familiar with the “Plus 1” approach as an easy way to integrate UDL into your curriculum.
- Begin adapting one or more of your existing teaching and learning practices to more intentionally align with UDL.
AI Unconference 2.0: Productive Struggle in Your Discipline — How and When to Integrate AI?
The AI Unconference 2.0 will provide faculty with the space to brainstorm, problem-solve, and share challenges and solutions on AI with one another. Following an unconference format, faculty participants will:
- Set the agenda and identify discussion topics.
- Shape the conversations based on their interests, disciplines, and needs.
- Explore productive struggle and decision-making around when (and when not) to integrate AI.
- Leave with new ideas, strategies, and resources on AI in the classroom.
