The Office of Learning Communities invites all faculty and interested staff to this year's August Institute:
Going Back to Basics: What Makes a Learning Community a Learning Community?
It will be held in the A-300 Lobby on Wednesday, August 27, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Driven by our LC learning outcomes, topics will include educational planning, course clustering, early alerts to boost retention, and career coaching.
With each topic, we will ask how to build students' sense of community and belonging to help them thrive at BHCC and beyond.
Lunch will be provided. Faculty (both DAY and DCE) will be compensated for attending at $45/hour.
