Kurt Dreher came to Bunker Hill after serving as the Head Coach at Greater New Bedford Vocational High school for 9 years, 7 as the Assistant and 2 as Head Coach. Greater New Bedford Vocational won the State Championship with Coach Dreher as an Assistant . Prior to New Bedford Voke, Coach Dreher was the Pitching Coach at the University of Massachusetts/ Dartmouth for 4 years, where he helped turn the team around from 5 wins before his tenure, to 20 wins in his second year with the team.

Coach Dreher was a pitcher as a player. He played at New Bedford High School in the late 80's and was ranked #6 in the list of the 20 greatest NBHS baseball players in the last 50 years. After New Bedford High he played at Umass Dartmouth where he was a two time All New England selection and an All-American selection in his Junior Year. He finished in the top 5 in career Wins, saves, strikeouts, and innings pitched at Umass Dartmouth.

Coach Dreher currently resides in Dartmouth , MA with his wife of 30 years and has 4 adult children. He also has 4 dogs and 3 cats.
