On Thursday, August 29, 2019, Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) faculty and staff members convened in the gymnasium for the College’s annual Convocation celebration to kick off the 2019-2020 academic year.

On September 17, 13 scientists from Merck Exploratory Science Center in Cambridge were paired with 16 BHCC students in BIO-262, Principles of Molecular Biotechnology.

At Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC), on September 12, 2019, a ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the formal opening of the DISH (Delivering Information, Sustenance, and Health) food pantry to recognize the donors and key people who made the pantry a reality.

On Wednesday, September 25, 2019, Governor Charlie Baker delivered $1.15M in competitive grants in Higher Education Innovation Fund grants to help the public campuses working together to accelerate change by increasing college-going and college completion rates of students of color, low-income students and those who are first in their families to attend college.
