Diwali, or Festival of Lights, celebrates the triumph of good over evil and the power of hope over despair. A tradition observed by many South Asian communities all over the world, Diwali reminds us that the joy of being in community can be powerful and transformative.
In this spirit, let us celebrate Diwali together – we will have great food, music, dance, and many fun activities! We will also celebrate the positive impact that the AANAPISI Proud Initiative has had on our community, and how we can continue to keep our community strong.
All are welcome!
Please feel free to come in your desi or traditional clothing if you wish.
We look forward to seeing you at our Diwali celebration!
