Fluent in a language other than English? Turn linguistic skills into college credits at BHCC. Meir Perry, Credit for Prior Learning Coordinator, explains how BHCC students can earn credits without having to enroll in courses by using our diverse language skills.

This workshop is designed to assist students in completing their four-year college applications. Facilitators will overview the entire application process, ensuring students have a clear understanding of the requirements and steps involved. Students may use this time to complete the Common Application or other college applications, write their transfer essay, collect application materials, and have individual concerns addressed.

Public Safety Week: Massachusetts Trial Court Information Session
Join the Criminal Justice & Public Safety Department for a week of events and presentations. Massachusetts Trial Courts, Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
Transfer 102 - Applying and Deciding
(Recommended for students with 30-60 credits and who have attended the Transfer 101 Workshop)
Are you getting close to graduating? This workshop will focus on the final two stages of transferring: Applying and Deciding. Topics that will be covered include: applying to four-year colleges and making informed decisions on which colleges to attend, requesting letters of recommendations, writing your transfer essays, and using the Common Application.
Transfer 101 - Virtual Preparing and Exploring
(Recommended for students with 0-30 credits)
This workshop will focus on the first two stages of transferring: Preparing and Exploring. Students will receive an overview of statewide transfer programs and incentives, how to transfer credits, searching for colleges, and other resources to clarify the transfer process.
Recommended for students who are learning about transferring for the first time. Its never too early to begin thinking about transfer!
International Students - Finding Housing in Boston Workshop for International Students
Join BHCC Director Doni M. Casula to learn more about the Boston rental market and develop strategies for how to find the housing you need!
