This class will present the basic principles of bar organization and equipment. Students will learn to serve drinks and cocktails properly as well as prepare frozen drinks and non-alcoholic beverages using state-of-the-art equipment. All class sessions will be conducted in a simulated bar environment. Each student will receive a certificate upon completing the course.

ServSafe Manager Food Safety Training (One-day)SLF-101E$205

Do you need to become ServSafe certified? If you serve food at your business, you must have a certified food manager working for you. ServSafe is the most highly regarded certificate in the food service industry. The State passed the Massachusetts Food Establishment Regulation in 2001. Recognized by more federal, state, and local jurisdictions than any other food safety certification, earning your ServSafe Food Manager Certification protects public health.  For Sections 01-04, it will be one day of class: four classroom hours and up to two hours for exam time. A proctored exam will be administered online using laptops that will be provided to you. You do not have to purchase a book. Instead, you will receive a downloadable PDF study Guide.

ServSafe Manager Food Safety Training (Two-day) SLF-101E-06 $155

For Section 06, the class is held over a two day period with each day being four hours in duration. The last two hours of day two will be dedicated to exam time. A proctored paper-based exam will be administered and your answer sheet will be mailed to ServSafe. You will be able to check your exam results one week after the exam. Upon passing, you will be able to download your certificate.
Book purchase is required. Please purchase the course book ServSafe Manager Book 7th edition with exam answer sheet ESX7 at least a week before the first class to allow for shipping. Visit www.servsafe.com and go to Login/Create Account Tab at the top to create your profile. Once you have done this, go to the Servsafe Manager link and then to the buy products site. Go to Manager Training and Certification Exam Products and select "ServSafe Manager Book 7th edition with exam answer sheet ESX7". Cost of book: $70.30. You must bring your book on the first day of class as your instructor will be using the book. Your book also contains the answer sheet that you will need for your paper-based exam.
