Grief Gone Global: A Community Exploration of the Healing Power of Poetry, Art and Music

Join BHCC Distinguished Artist Scholar in Residence Dr. Robin Chandler and award-winning author, poet and cultural educator Larry Spotted Crow Mann, and others, for a series of workshops and a special performance that will examine various forms of sorrow, anguish and distress, while embracing creative means of understanding, expressing and managing grief that is both personal and global in nature. Community Performance Mourning and the Last Night Council Fire of the We Participate in this culturally diverse gathering featuring spoken word works by Dr. Robin Chandler, Larry Spotted Crow Mann, Princess Moon, Jean-Dany Joachim, and other published poets as well as members of the BHCC Community. Featuring global drumming by Jean Appolon Expressions and others Engage in issues creatively and spiritually with the healing power of poetry, music, and art.
