MGH Krantz Family Center for Cancer Research - Guest Speaker: Lloyd Bod, Ph.D., Investigator, Assistant Professor, Cancer Center, Mass General Research Institute
Lloyd Bod, PhD, serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and is a Principal Investigator at the MGH Krantz Family Center for Cancer Research. He is also an Associate Member at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. He obtained his BSc and MSc in Immunology from the Pierre and Marie Curie University and the École Normale Supérieure in Paris, France. He completed his PhD thesis at the Cochin Institute and his postdoctoral training at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. The research focus of the Bod lab is to understand the various phenotypic and functional states of B cells and antibodies during the progression of tumors. The lab's work is at the crossroads of genomics, translational immunology, and preclinical cancer models, aiming to discover new therapeutic approaches.

(Recommended for students with 0-30 credits)
This workshop will focus on the first two stages of transferring: Preparing and Exploring. Students will receive an overview of statewide transfer programs and incentives, how to transfer credits, searching for colleges, and other resources to clarify the transfer process.
Recommended for students who are learning about transferring for the first time. Its never too early to begin thinking about transfer!
Selective College Week Debrief with Students
This final event during Selective College Week offers an opportunity for reflection on what you have learned. If you attended the events throughout the week, you probably have questions or have gained valuable new information. How can you enhance your competitiveness and improve your chances of acceptance? Are these the types of colleges you wish to pursue? What other steps can you take now? Join a transfer advisor and your peers for an informal debrief session to discuss your insights from college visits and events, and to begin outlining action steps to enhance your competitiveness for selective colleges.
