Business Programs at BHCC

Ready to start your career in business? Train for a career in accounting and finance, entrepreneurship, and management. The Business Administration Department prepares graduates for entry-level career opportunities, and transfer to four-year institutions.



Get the training necessary for an entry-level career in management or transfer to a four-year institution.  BHCC’s Management associate degree program prepares students with a solid foundation of managerial principles and allows them to analyze and solve realistic management problems. Graduates may pursue a transfer to area colleges and universities through the College’s many Articulation Agreements.

In addition to the Management associate degree program, BHCC offers associate degree and certificate programs in Hotel / Restaurant Management and Sport Management.

For students seeking managerial roles in the medical professions, the Management of Assisted Living and Institutional Facilities associate degree program provides graduates with the technical skills and laboratory experience necessary to successfully transfer and pursue a career in the medical professions, including medical, veterinary, and pharmacy, physical therapy and physician’s assistant programs.



Prepare for an entry-level career in Accounting. BHCC’s Accounting Option associate degree program trains students in the electronic applications and accounting software used in the industry. Accounting Option students also gain experience preparing tax returns and interfacing with the public through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. An Accounting Information certificate program is also available for professionals who perform bookkeeping functions in their current role and looking to enhance their accounting and finance skills.


The Business Administration Department at Bunker Hill Community College is a collegial, student-centered learning community dedicated to providing an innovative, creative, and relevant education in business disciplines to a diverse student population. We strive to maximize student success by placing graduates in a competitive position when seeking employment in a business environment or upon transfer to a four-year academic institution, ultimately empowering them to compete responsibly and successfully in today’s global business environment.



The Business Transfer option prepares graduates for global business skills and transfers to a four-year college or university. BHCC offers Articulation Agreements with area institutions to major in Business Administration. Graduates may use the benefits of MassTransfer to complete their bachelor’s degree at a four-year state institution or UMass campus.



Become an entrepreneur. BHCC’s Entrepreneurship Option associate degree program prepares graduates with the business skills necessary for self-employment or career advancement and mobility. Entrepreneurship graduates may choose to transfer to a four-year institution with an entrepreneurial program. An Entrepreneurship certificate program is also available for students seeking a better understanding of business issues, technical skills, and other knowledge to succeed in entrepreneurial endeavors.



The Finance option prepares students with general workforce skills and specialized educational training for entry-level positions in financial services, investment banking, financial planning, budgeting, and/or administration.
